How Many Cubic Yards Do You Need?

One cubic yard measures 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet. Most mulch beds need 2 to 3 inches.

Need A Truck Or Trailer? We Book U-Haul.
We’re a U-Haul dealer, so if you’re shifting something we can’t deliver, or moving house altogether, we can book it for you.
- Trucks and trailers. Whatever size the job needs, from a trailer behind the truck to a full moving van.
- Book by phone or in person. Call the yard or come in and we’ll set it up. We can’t take U-Haul bookings online.
- We tell you where to collect it. Sometimes the vehicle is here, sometimes the booking is at another location nearby, and you’ll know before you leave.
- One stop. Load your material and sort the truck in the same visit.

How much does one cubic yard cover?
One cubic yard covers about 324 square feet at 1 inch deep, 162 at 2 inches and 108 at 3 inches. Most mulch beds need 2 to 3 inches, and the calculator above will do the sums for you.
Do you deliver to my address?
We deliver up to 30 miles from the yard. Send us the address and we’ll confirm the charge.
Can you load my pickup or trailer?
Yes, we load pickups and trailers Monday through Saturday. Call before you head over if you’re not sure how much your vehicle can carry.
Where can I see your prices?
Our current prices are listed on one page, and sales tax is added to all of them.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, cash and cards both. Cards carry a 3.5% processing fee and cash doesn’t.
When are you open?
We’re open Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm, closed Sunday.
